The Finger Lakes Region of the SCCA runs a Solo 2 program in the
greater Rochester, New York area. The Championship Series includes
eight to ten events each season, including points events with neighboring
SCCA regions. Solo 2 is a driving skill competition, where you and
your car negotiate a course laid out in a parking lot or airport runway
and marked with traffic cones. The lowest time wins, and penalty seconds
are added to your score for each cone you knock down. To get
a good low time you must be smooth and precise, and quick. The skills
you learn on the course will greatly improve your car control, and help
make you a safer driver on the street.
And how about AMSOIL products for
your motorcycle?
Kevin McLoud of Penn Yan, NY uses AMSOIL
10W-40 Motorcycle Oil and an AMSOIL
EaOM Motorcycle Oil Filter on his 2004 Kawasaki ZX6R
